Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,704 per week

About the Role

• Local rate applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (12% reduction of regular bill rate).
• Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours for this 13-week assignment.
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation. Clinicians returning within 12 months of their last worked date are not eligible for non-billable orientation.
• Position will work at two locations approximately 18 miles apart.

Responsibilities

• Care of the laboring patient.
• Nursing duties during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Care of couplets.
• Circulating C-Sections (2+ years of experience required).
• Documentation using EPIC Stork and Centricity fetal monitoring system.
• Medication management via Pyxis system.
• Float between PRMC and Parkview Randallia based on need.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Ability to circulate C-sections required.
• BLS through AHA required.
• ACLS through AHA required.
• NRP required.
• STABLE required.
• Compact or Indiana RN license required.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, nights.
• 3 out of 4 weekends required.
• No call requirement.
• RN will work with a shift nurse lead and at least 6 L&D RNs per shift.

Unit Details

• 16 LDR rooms at PRMC and 10 LDR rooms at Randallia.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1 typically (possibly 1:2 for early labor or induction; 1-3 for couplet care).
• Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs.
