About the role
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 20-week assignment starting August 24, 2026, in Olney, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist with deliveries and monitor mother and baby health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor during stressful situations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Labor & Delivery RN.
- Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
- Pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Labor & Delivery RN is preferred, but we are open to exceptional candidates with a strong passion.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during stressful and fast-paced moments in the healthcare setting.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, nights, with a start date of August 24, 2026.
