Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,686 per week

Position Overview

Travel L&D RN will provide comprehensive care for laboring patients, assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, circulate C-sections, and provide postpartum couplet care. Position requires working between Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC) and Parkview Randallia.

Schedule

• 13-week contract
• 3×12-hour shifts
• 3 out of every 4 weekends
• No call required

Experience Required

• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• 2+ years of circulating C-sections (required)
• Experience with labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care

Required Certifications

• Active Indiana RN License or Compact RN License
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NRP
• STABLE

Clinical Responsibilities

• Care for laboring patients
• Vaginal deliveries
• Circulate Cesarean sections
• Postpartum mother/baby (Couplet) care
• Fetal monitoring
• Patient education

• Epic Stork
• Centricity Fetal Monitoring
• Pyxis Medication System

Unit Information

PRMC: 16 Labor, Delivery & Recovery (LDR) rooms

Parkview Randallia: 10 Labor, Delivery & Recovery (LDR) rooms

Patient Ratios

• Labor: 1:1 (occasionally 1:2 for early labor/inductions)
• Couplet Care: 1:3

Floating

Required to float between PRMC and Parkview Randallia.
