Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,650 per week

About the role

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Olney, Illinois. This is a 13-week assignment starting 08/10/2026, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift (3x 12hr shifts). The role is in a rural OBGYN department.

Responsibilities

• Perform comfort measures for patients as needed.
• Serve as circulating nurse for vaginal deliveries.
• Participate in transferring maternal patients to other facilities via ambulance.
• Instruct patients in peri-care, breast care, proper diets, and post-delivery/surgical activity.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (minimum).
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Proficiency in the following areas:
  • Patient care
  • Labor and Delivery nursing
  • Postpartum nursing
  • Nursery care
  • Antepartum nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Perigen and EPIC.
