Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,592 per week
About the Role
Travel nursing assignment in West Burlington, Iowa for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. Duration is 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week on 12-hour night shifts.
Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high-quality care to adolescent and adult females, as well as neonates.
Epic EMR experience is required. While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler is expected to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
- Coordinate care with other health team members.
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adolescent and adult females, and neonates.
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
- Respond to occasional on-call requests during low census periods, arriving on-site within one hour if called in.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, including a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
