Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Montana (MT) RN License.
- Certifications: AHA BLSNRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - recertification required every 2 years, STABLE certification (must have within two years of hire).
- Stroke Competency: Must comply with hyperacute/acute stroke protocols, requiring two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease education within one year of hire and one hour annually thereafter.
Requirements
- Delivery Skills: Must be able to catch/transition nurse.
- Leadership: Must be capable of acting as Charge Nurse.
- Floating Expectations: Must be willing to float to other departments to act as a safety companion.
