Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,535 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is hiring experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week travel assignment in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. This role involves caring for patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum process, supporting families during life-changing moments, and managing high-risk situations with skill and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs throughout labor and delivery
• Assist physicians and midwives during childbirth
• Administer medications and IVs, including epidurals and Pitocin
• Educate and support patients and families on birth plans and newborn care
• Manage emergencies such as preeclampsia, hemorrhage, or fetal distress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP and fetal monitoring certification preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent L&D nursing experience
• Strong knowledge of obstetric protocols and fetal monitoring interpretation
• Calm, confident decision-making in fast-paced, high-pressure situations

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, rotating (19:00:00-07:00:00)
