About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting August 10, 2026, in Torrance, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional, compassionate, and competent care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist physicians during deliveries and monitor fetal heart tones.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Document patient care accurately and timely according to hospital policy.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current California RN license.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.
- Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
