Job Details**About the role**As a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery, you will provide care to women during pregnancy, labor, and childbirth, as well as to newborns. Aequor Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. This position requires at least two years of proven experience.

As a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery, you will provide care to women during pregnancy, labor, and childbirth, as well as to newborns. You will work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for mothers and babies.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor the health of mothers and babies during labor and delivery
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Assist with childbirth procedures, including cesarean sections
• Provide emotional support to mothers and families
• Educate mothers and families on newborn care and postpartum recovery
• Monitor and care for newborns immediately after birth
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient care and progress accurately and thoroughly

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania or a compact state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
