Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,013 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Frederick, Maryland.

About the Role

This is a travel nursing position in a hospital setting, offering longer assignments through January 9, 2027, though not required. The role supports healthcare professionals with opportunities designed to meet today’s workforce needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum.
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment in newly expanded Labor & Delivery rooms to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Monitor fetal well-being using active fetal monitoring certification.
• Support unit operations during night shifts, including managing emergency situations and patient needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of current, strong Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• OB Triage experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred, or AWHONN Intermediate accepted (C-EFM must be obtained if contract extensions meet or exceed 1 year from initial contract start date).

Schedule

• 19-week contract starting September 2, 2026.
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30).
• D/N rotation, including holidays and weekends.

Pay

Pay range: $2,130.52 - $2,237.05 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
