Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,012 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a hospital contract in Frederick, Maryland.

About the Role

This travel nursing assignment offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive obstetric care in a hospital setting. The role supports healthcare professionals with opportunities designed to meet today’s workforce needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum.
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment in new Labor & Delivery rooms.
• Monitor fetal well-being with active fetal monitoring certification.
• Assist with labor and delivery procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered care.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of current, strong Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• OB Triage experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred, or AWHONN Intermediate accepted (C-EFM must be obtained if contract extensions meet or exceed 1 year from initial contract start date).

Schedule

• Start Date: 09/02/2026
• Duration: 18 weeks (longer assignments through January 9, 2027, are available but not required)
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Rotating holidays and weekends

Pay

Pay range: $2,129.08 - $2,235.53 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
