About the role
We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team in Tomball, TX for a 13-week travel contract. The ideal candidate will possess strong independent labor and delivery skills, with the ability to manage patient care effectively while working collaboratively with a dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Labor management for both vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Conduct cervical checks and administer intravenous medications
- Assist with pre-operative and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) needs
- Utilize standard fetal monitoring and IV equipment
Requirements
- Strong independent labor and delivery skills, including OR circulation and medication management
- Required certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, EFM
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be open and friendly, able to work independently while embracing a team spirit.
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
- 36 hours per week
