This role involves providing excellent patient care in a high-paced labor and delivery environment. Unit Information Number of Beds: 14 labor beds, 2 OR, 6 recovery bays, 8 antepartum beds Staffing: 40 staff members Patient Ratios: 1:2 for labor, 1:4 for antepartum Equipment: GE EFM, CPN EMR: Meditech/Centricity Perinatal Typical Responsibilities Assist in vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections Implement bilateral tubal ligations and dilation and curettage (D&C) Administer uterine tamponade devices Manage magnesium and Pitocin drips, including titration Qualifications Must Have: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Experience in labor management Preferred: Able to circulate in Labor & Delivery OR Best Personality Fit The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, compassion, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Required Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Intermittent Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Floating Areas Antepartum Postpartum (OB assignment only) Work Schedule This position requires rotating weekends.
