Aya Healthcare is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Lebanon, PA. This position offers competitive pay and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Administer blood and blood products
• Manage anticoagulation therapy and antihypertensive medications
• Perform APGAR scoring and assist with various deliveries
• Provide breastfeeding support and conduct baby-friendly protocols
• Train parents on infant care and car seat safety
• Manage epidural anesthesia and perform cesarean sections
• Assist with postpartum care and discharge teaching
• Monitor and manage various complications such as hemorrhage, shock, and infections
• Implement phototherapy and administer vaccines
• Collaborate with neonatal resuscitation teams
• Conduct routine assessments and chart patient data using Epic

Requirements

• At least one year of relevant experience
• BLS and NRP certifications
• PA license or compact license
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

Qualifications

• Knowledge of neonatal resuscitation and newborn assessment
• Experience with various obstetric procedures and treatments
• Ability to maintain sterile environments and handle emergencies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
