Job Summary

Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Las Cruces, NM. We offer competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a labor and delivery unit setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established standards.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely using Meditech charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, including infection control measures.

Requirements

• Current active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico or a compact state.
• One year of relevant experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of labor and delivery protocols and procedures.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
