About the Role
This is a 13-week night-shift assignment with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00) per week. The facility is an acute care hospital with 37 beds, classified as Level 4 trauma. Patient ratios are 1:1 on nights and weekends.
Pay
$2,395 to $2,588 weekly, including taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.

Responsibilities & Skills
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including VBAC management and trial of labor
- Perform sterile vaginal exams (effacement, dilation, station, presentation)
- Manage anticoagulation, antihypertensive, antiseizure, magnesium sulfate, opioid, and prostaglandin therapies
- Conduct APGAR scores, newborn assessments, and neonatal resuscitation
- Monitor and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns using external fetal monitoring (EFM)
- Manage complications such as pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, HELLP syndrome, preterm labor, premature rupture of membranes, and postpartum hemorrhage
- Administer and monitor epidural anesthesia, general anesthesia, and nitrous oxide
- Perform forceps/vacuum extraction, foley catheter insertion, and wound assessment/care
- Assess and manage pain, fundus/lochia/perineum care, and thermoregulation (radiant warmers)
- Triage obstetrical patients and utilize rapid response/code teams
- Recognize and respond to maternal and neonatal emergencies, including cardiac arrest and RH incompatibilities
- Charting system: Expanse
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
- Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
