Requirements

• 1 year of RN experience
• WA RN license or Compact license
• Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, BLS, NRP
• Charting system: Epic

Skills

• Administration of blood & blood products
• Anticoagulation therapy
• Antihypertensives
• Isolation precautions/PPE
• Assist with high‑risk delivery
• Circulate for C‑section
• Facility births/month 200‑300
• High‑risk antepartum
• Insulin drips
• Labor & Delivery, LDRP
• Magnesium sulfate therapy
• Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC)
• Recover C‑Section
• Pain assessment & management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Sterile vaginal exam
• Triage of obstetrical patients
• Use of IUPC (intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration
• Use of PCA (IV)
