Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Make $2,082 to $2,275/week

About the role

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position at an acute care Level 2 trauma hospital in Greensboro, NC. 13‑week night‑shift assignment (three 12‑hour shifts, 19:00‑07:30) using Epic charting. Start date October 5, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Administer blood & blood products, antihypertensives, insulin drips, magnesium sulfate therapy, prostaglandins, terbutaline, anticoagulation therapy.
• Perform APGAR scores, reflex checks, edema assessment, clonus, sterile vaginal exams, fetal monitoring (external & internal), IUPC placement and calibration, use of rapid response/code teams.
• Assist with vaginal delivery, high‑risk delivery, sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), epidural anesthesia, Foley catheter insertion/management, tubal ligation.
• Manage neonatal arrest, neonatal resuscitation, radiant warmers/thermoregulation, VBAC trial of labor, multiple gestation, malpresentations (breech/face/brow), placenta previa/abruptio, pre‑eclampsia/eclampsia, HELLP syndrome, hemorrhage/shock, premature rupture of membranes.
• Draw venous blood, start and maintain IVs, use infusion pumps/drips/IV monitoring, administer nitrous oxide, pain assessment & management.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Current BLS, NRP, AWHONN Beginner, ACLS, and FHM certifications.
• Active North Carolina RN license or compact state license.

$2,082 – $2,275 per week (taxable wages plus tax‑free expense reimbursements).
