$1,817 to $2,046 weekly (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements).
Schedule
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 3x 12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15)

Responsibilities & Skills
- Amnioinfusion
- Administration of antihypertensives and antiseizure medications
- Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation)
- Assist with vaginal delivery and cesarean section
- Circulate for C-section
- Drawing venous blood
- Epidural anesthesia management
- Episiotomy/incisional care
- Foley catheter insertion/management
- Forceps/vacuum extraction
- Fundus / lochia / perineum care
- General anesthesia management
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Isolation precautions/PPE
- Labor & delivery care
- Magnesium sulfate therapy
- Administration of blood & blood products
- Antepartum care
- Anticoagulation therapy
- APGAR scoring
- Assist with circumcision and post-op site assessment
- Neonatal care ("Baby Catcher")
- Bladder distension management
- Collect cord samples and cord care
- Couplet care (mother and baby)
- Discharge teaching to parents

- Radiant warmers/thermoregulation
- Spiral electrode placement
- Sterile vaginal exams
- Teach circumcision care to parents
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Terbutaline administration
- Thermoregulation
- Triage of obstetrical patients
- Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring)
- Use of infusion pumps, drips, and IV monitoring
- Use of internal fetal monitoring
- IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration
- Use of PCA (IV)
- Vaccine administration
- Vaginal delivery
- Wound assessment and care
- Charting system: Epic
Requirements
- 1 year of experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
- Licensure: SC License or Compact License
- Previous Charge Nurse experience: Preferred
