Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,165 per week

About the role

A central CT hospital is seeking a travel RN to assist in the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit. The hospital is known for its level 2 nursery and an average of 1300 births annually, with 18 out of 23 rooms capable of delivering babies. The position does not involve scrubbing in for C-sections.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the care of patients during labor and delivery
• Monitor patient progress and provide necessary interventions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Connecticut
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred

Pay

The estimated pay package is based on the bill rate at the time the job was posted. Exact pay package may vary based on factors such as guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers. The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).

Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours long, nights.
