About the role
Meda Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a labor and delivery unit.
- Assist physicians during deliveries and manage postpartum care.
- Monitor patients for complications and ensure timely interventions.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with hospital policies.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience as an RN.
- Current state licensure.
- BLS/ACLS/NRP/AWHONN certification (at minimum).
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of labor and delivery procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
