About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency, is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Labor and Delivery assignment in Sioux City, Iowa. The assignment starts October 26, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 36 hours per week on 11‑hour shifts. Labor and Delivery nurses provide perinatal care to women and their newborns before, during, and after delivery, addressing both medical and emotional needs throughout the birthing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support for women before, during, and after delivery of the baby.
• Ensure the medical and emotional needs of patients are met throughout the entire birthing process.
• Care for women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
• Monitor patients for potential high‑risk problems.
• Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Labor and Delivery setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Pay

• Weekly pay and direct deposit.
