About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Mayfield, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Document patient care in an accurate and timely manner using the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to maintain certification and stay current with industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Kentucky
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred
Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of obstetric care and procedures
