About the role

Travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery position in Bronx, New York. Specialty: Labor and Delivery. Discipline: RN. Start date: October 13, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 12‑hour day shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to laboring women, including assessment and monitoring of fetal heart rates.
• Administer medications and IV fluids, including titration of Oxytocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and Insulin drips as necessary.
• Assist with C‑sections and recover patients in the postpartum unit.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and pediatric staff to ensure best patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about the labor and delivery process as well as postpartum care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP required.
• EFM certification preferred (through NCC or Advanced Fetal Monitoring).
• Active RN license required.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week.
