About the role

We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate must have extensive high-risk obstetrical experience and be capable of managing a variety of patient situations, including high-acuity deliveries and recovery care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and support laboring patients with appropriate interventions.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and post-delivery care.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate preferred.
• Experience circulating in cesarean sections and recovering high-acuity patients.

Schedule

7 PM - 7 AM, 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
