About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in transition, postpartum, and newborn care, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment that prioritizes patient care and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Care for newly delivered mothers and their newborns, ensuring safety and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems (CPN, Meditech).
- Participate in unit policies and guidelines adherence.
Schedule
This position requires a night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00, with every other weekend commitment.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP.
- Experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care required.
- Charge experience is preferred but not mandatory.
