Travel L&D RN - $1,874 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas. This is a 13-week contract position working in the Antepartum/Labor and Delivery unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients during their antepartum and labor processes. This role involves working effectively within a team, maintaining communication with the healthcare staff, and utilizing equipment such as EMR Meditech and CPN.

Schedule

Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating weekends. 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct non-stress tests and manage hyperemesis.
• Administer insulin drips and magnesium administration, as well as heparin drips.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide updates to relevant team members.

Required Experience & Certifications

• Must possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
• AWHONN and NRP certifications are required.
• Previous experience in Labor and Delivery or Antepartum care is preferred.
