Travel Nurse RN – Labor and Delivery – Humble, Texas. 13‑week contract, 36 hours/week on 12‑hour night shifts (19:00‑07:00). Start date ASAP. Travel employment.
About the role
We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of two years of experience in labor and delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in advanced maternal and fetal monitoring, possess strong clinical skills, and be able to manage complex patient needs in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform sterile vaginal exams and fetal monitoring.
- Conduct FSE/IUPC placement and circulate cesarean sections.
- Administer oxytocin inductions/augmentations and magnesium sulfate therapy for preeclampsia and fetal neuroprotection.
- Manage insulin drip titrations and provide care in labor‑delivery and postoperative recovery areas.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years labor and delivery experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, AWOHNN certifications.
- Intermediate fetal monitoring and NRP certification from AAP.
- Experience with magnesium sulfate drip and oxytocin management.
- Knowledge of insulin drip management (preferred).

Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
