About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients during labor, delivery, and recovery. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and health of mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery patient care.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health using appropriate equipment.
• Administer medications such as Magnesium and Pitocin drips as per protocols.
• Assist in various procedures including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and uterine tamponades.
• Facilitate care in recovery bays for postpartum patients.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and guidelines relevant to the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• Intermittent EFM experience
• Ability to circulate in Labor and Delivery OR preferred

Schedule

• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 7A - 7P, 12 hours
• Hours per week: 36
