About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery unit in Weatherford, TX. This is a 13-week contract travel position with a shift of 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM on a weekend rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Monitor laboring patients and provide individualized care.
• Assist with deliveries, including C-sections, as necessary.
• Support immediate newborn care during the golden hour.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech / CPN.

Requirements

• Current and active Texas RN License (temp license not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• BLS, NRPA, and AWHONN certifications required.
• Experience in circulating C-sections and previous use of Meditech is preferred.
