About the role
The position involves performing vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures using specialized equipment. This role requires a proven track record of experience as an Interventional Radiographer, solid understanding of patient safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Develop and maintain skills in various clinical systems including McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, and Teletrak.
- Maintain equipment performance to specifications.
- Aid in maintaining an adequate supply of supplies for patient care.
- Ensure relevant exam information is captured during the exam.
- Assist radiologists in performing exams, ensuring clinical excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
- Independent decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of patient safety and precautions.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Ability to relate positively to residents and families, and work cooperatively with other employees.
- Regular attendance and meeting local health regulations.
- Pass a post-offer health assessment.
- Physical and sensory requirements: walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, hearing, responding to pages, reading and writing, communicating verbally and in writing, remaining calm under stress, distinguishing smells, tastes, and temperatures.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiographer.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
