Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,779 per week

About the role

Uniti Med is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Urbana, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician
• Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Document patient information accurately and maintain records

Requirements

• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Experience in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Current state licensure as an Interventional Radiology Technologist

Skills

• Proficiency with medical imaging equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
