About the role
Cedar Rapids, Iowa is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and applying sterile drapes.
- Operate equipment such as ultrasound machines, angiography units, and fluoroscopy systems.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and report any changes to the physician.
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist from a recognized organization.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a medical imaging or related field.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay
The pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
