About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on July 20, 2026, in Rochester, New York.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
- Operate equipment such as fluoroscopy, CT scanners, and ultrasound machines.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
- Ensure sterile technique and follow safety protocols during procedures.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in New York State.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of interventional radiology techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience with interventional radiology procedures and equipment.
