About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on July 29, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Assist in the planning and execution of interventional procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
- Operate equipment such as ultrasound, CT, and MRI machines to assist in diagnostic imaging.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records according to HIPAA guidelines.
- Ensure sterile technique during procedures to prevent infection.
Requirements
- Current licensure as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Kentucky.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of interventional radiology techniques and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Basic computer skills to operate hospital information systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Experience with interventional radiology equipment and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations.

- Proficiency in operating interventional radiology equipment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Pay
