About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Alexandria, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and explaining the procedure
• Operate equipment such as ultrasound, CT, and MRI machines
• Assist with patient care during and after procedures
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Experience in interventional radiology technology preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Passport required for international travel

Pay
