Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,367 per week

About the role

The position involves performing vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures using specialized equipment. This role requires a proven track record of experience as an Interventional Radiographer, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Develop and maintain skills in various clinical systems including McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, and Teletrak.
  • Maintain equipment performance to specifications.
  • Aid in maintaining adequate levels of supplies for patient care.
  • Capture relevant exam information during the exam.
  • Assist radiologists in performing exams while ensuring clinical excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
  • Independent decision-making skills.
  • Strong understanding of patient safety and precautions.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
  • Regular attendance and ability to maintain physical and sensory requirements.
  • Completion of a post-offer health assessment.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiographer.

Skills

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules and procedure manuals.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in using various clinical systems including McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, and Teletrak.
  • Ability to maintain equipment performance to specifications.
  • Effective communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Positive interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with other employees.
  • Physical and sensory capabilities to perform the job duties.

Pay
