About the role

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for Cardiac/Vascular IR, requiring 2+ years of vascular/IR experience and ARRT VI certification. The role provides imaging support for vascular IR cases in the OR and Hybrid OR setting, using Siemens equipment, ultrasound, and 3D spin/fusion technology. Documentation is performed using EPIC and HI-IQ systems. There is potential to float within clinical scope per facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Pull inventory and order cases in EPIC prior to procedures.
• Run the table and controls during cases; perform 3D spins and fusion imaging.
• Actively engage throughout procedures including filming and post‑processing images.
• Work closely with vascular surgeons, OR team, and procedural staff.
• Utilize C‑arm to support simple surgical cases such as Impellas and cystoscopies during downtime.
• Document inventory and procedures using EPIC and HI‑IQ systems.
• Potential to float within clinical scope per facility policy.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of vascular/IR experience.
• ARRT (VI) and BLS certifications required.
• VA state license required if applicable; pending licenses accepted if licensed in another state.
• Epic experience required.
• Trauma Level I experience preferred.
• Experience with angioplasty, carotid stenting, EVAR, TEVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and upper/lower extremity angiography.
• Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) and access site preparation.
• Hybrid OR and Special Procedures experience preferred.
