Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,291 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, Maryland. This position requires 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and operates on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients
• Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Operate the fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
• Monitor patient during all procedures
• Report abnormal activity
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques on patient and operator exposure
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of recent acute care experience
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• BLS, ARRT (VI), ACLS, 2 Years

• Knowledge of radiation protection standards

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
