Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Charleston, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
- Operate equipment and perform imaging techniques as directed by the physician.
- Document patient data accurately and maintain medical records.
- Ensure sterile technique and safety protocols are followed during procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience.
- First-time travelers welcome.
- ARRT certification required.
- West Virginia State License required (pending license accepted at submission but must be active before the start date).
- BLS certification required.
- Vascular Interventional (VI) certification preferred.
Schedule & Call
- 40 hours per week guaranteed.
- On-call rotation includes weekdays and weekends.
- Approximately 8 call days per month, including 1 weekend per month.
- Every third weekend is required (approximately 5–6 weekends during the contract).
- 30-minute call response time.
- 2-hour callback minimum.
