About the role
LanceSoft is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 12-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Columbus, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of interventional radiologists.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
- Operate equipment and perform imaging techniques as directed.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Ensure sterile technique and safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff during procedures.
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR).
- BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) certifications required.
- Patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Ability to work weekends and call as needed.
- Must be able to float within the facility's scope of practice.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current ARRT (R) certification in IR.
- Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficiency in using EPIC, Pyxis, and SBAR systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
