About the role

LanceSoft is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 12-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Columbus, Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of interventional radiologists.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
  • Operate equipment and perform imaging techniques as directed.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
  • Ensure sterile technique and safety protocols are followed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff during procedures.
  • Collaborate with interventional radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR).
  • BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) certifications required.
  • Patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
  • Ability to work weekends and call as needed.
  • Must be able to float within the facility's scope of practice.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current ARRT (R) certification in IR.
  • Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using EPIC, Pyxis, and SBAR systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
