About the role
Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Danbury, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist
- Assist with fluoroscopy and image-guided procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist during the procedure
- Operate and maintain equipment used in interventional radiology
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
Requirements
- Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Experience in interventional radiology or related field
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) examination
Skills
- Proficiency with interventional radiology equipment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
