About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a contract position in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to the IR team during diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
- Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts as per physician specifications.
- Absorb and pass instruments and catheters, monitor patient response, maintain sterile field, and interpret diagnostic data for physician utilization.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
Requirements
- Current license in good standing.
- Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
- Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
- Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
