About the role
The position involves providing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of a physician.
Responsibilities
- Assist in diagnostic imaging procedures
- Prepare and monitor patients for procedures
- Operate equipment and perform technical aspects of interventional radiology procedures
- Document patient information accurately
- Ensure sterile technique and safety protocols are followed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Experience in interventional radiology procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for West Virginia licensure
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug screening
Skills
- Proficient in operating interventional radiology equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
