Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,151 per week
About the Role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for an 8-week assignment in Henderson, Nevada. This full-time, day-shift position involves operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients while providing reassurance and support.
- Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Monitor patients during all procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to minimize patient and operator exposure.
- Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology to accurately interpret examination requests.
- Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Use the McKesson PACS system effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification.
- State-specific licensing where required.
- Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay & Schedule
This is a full-time, travel assignment with an 8-hour day shift and 40 hours per week for 8 weeks. Pay package includes tax-free stipend (amount to be determined).
