About the role
The position involves working as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Roanoke, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and explaining the procedure.
- Operate equipment to perform interventional radiology procedures such as angiography, biopsies, and embolizations.
- Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records.
Requirements
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour shift.
- Experience as a full-time Radiation Technologist for at least 1 year.
- Recent clinical experience within the last 2 years.
- Current State Licensure.
- Current relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS).
