Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification in Radiologic Technology from a recognized accrediting agency
- Current certification in Interventions Radiology from a recognized accrediting agency
- At least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Knowledge of imaging techniques such as fluoroscopy, CT scans, and ultrasound
- Experience with sterile technique and maintaining a sterile environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain procedures to patients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Skills
- Fluoroscopic and imaging equipment operation
- Knowledge of contrast agents and their administration
- Proper patient positioning and immobilization techniques
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations
