Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,976 per week

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026, in Mesa, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Assist in the planning and execution of interventional procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
• Operate equipment such as ultrasound, CT, and MRI machines to assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain records according to HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure sterile technique during procedures to minimize infection risk.
• Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient care.

Requirements

• Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Experience in performing interventional procedures and familiarity with imaging modalities.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and patient care protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited interventional radiology technology program.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
