About the role
An interventional radiology technologist is a specialized radiologic technologist who assists physicians with minimally invasive procedures that guide instruments through a patient's blood vessels and organs. Some procedures involving IR techs include angioplasty and biopsies.
This is a travel position in Charleston, South Carolina, with a start date of 09/14/2026, lasting 13 weeks. The role requires 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during minimally invasive interventional radiology procedures.
- Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging and procedures.
Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, including a tax-free stipend (amount to be determined).
