Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Akron, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
• Operate equipment and monitor patient responses during procedures.
• Document patient data accurately and maintain medical records.
• Ensure sterile technique and follow infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with fluoroscopy and imaging equipment.

Skills

• Proficient in operating interventional radiology equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Benefits

Wellspring Nurse Source offers a competitive pay package based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), including a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
